1. NEET was neither conceived nor introduced by the Modi government. It was notified in December 2010 under the Congress-led UPA and first conducted in 2013, before Modi became Prime Minister.233
2. The claim of a complete syllabus overhaul is equally misleading. NEET continues to test Class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The syllabus has undergone periodic revisions, including a reduction in 2024 to align with changes across school boards.234
