The facts

1. The latest General Administration Department assessment identified 1,02,601 vacancies across 53 departments, not 1.5 lakh. Of these, the government planned recruitment against approximately 27,000 posts during 2025.221
2. Madhya Pradesh had already filled approximately 29,000 government posts after the 2023 Assembly election, with another 27,000 recruitments scheduled. Therefore, saying that “no vacancies are being announced” is demonstrably false.222223
3. Specific notifications included 7,500 police-constable vacancies, 966 Group-IV posts and 339 graduate-level Group-II/Sub-Group-III posts.224
4. A further 22,500 police posts are planned over three years, at 7,500 appointments annually.225
